His very own big boy bed!

Since Lola is just around the corner, Chris and I decided that it would be best to teach Mylo to sleep without bars while he was still just across the hall. Today we decided, was the big day. So, while Mylo was taking a nap, Chris dug out all the parts to transform his crib into a toddler bed, and when Mylo woke up, we were ready with some excitement!
Mylo already loves watching Daddy do things, and is always excited to help, so he "helped" Chris put up the new small rails.
When the time came for his next nap in the afternoon, he was ready...all on his own. He ate lunch, got cleaned up, and while I was folding just one more load, he disappeared. I went to look for him, and found him sitting in his new bed, having a conversation with Na-nee (the bear). We gave him some milk, put on his sleeping bag, and a half-hour later with very little encouragement...sleeping! Cross your fingers that every night and nap time is this smooth!
